The condom broke last month, so I took Plan B. Had a really light period for 1 week followed by a heavy/normal period the next week. Last week, I had pains in my lower abdomen... thought maybe it was constipation. My periods are ALWAYS irregular, and I haven't had it again yet. Just wondering if I could be pregnant, or if I'm psyching myself out. Thanks so much!

Sounds like you are stressing yourself out. Take a test and put your mind at rest.

I seriously doubt you would be pregnant. For starters, having a two week period would pretty much eliminate that as a possibility. The Plan B is an hefty dose of hormones, and probably set your usual hormonal pattern on it's end. Since you are irregular at best, chances of a viable pregnancy at this point would be close to nil. If you really want to set your mind at ease, just make a trip to the pharmacy for a home pregnancy test and use it on a first morning bathroom trip.
As an aside, your irregular cycle could make it a challenge to get pregnant when you do reach that point in life. You ought to consider seeing a gynecologist and taking at least a short course of birth control pills to see if you can't get the system into a regular pattern. It's a matter of overall health for the system, to encourage it to work properly as it should. For peace of mind, you could also consider using a contaceptive sponge or even a diaphram, as an additional precaution against future condom breakage. It would save the trouble and upset of using plan B, and still let you avoid using BCP's if you find those objectionable for long term use. But go see the gyn and discuss all your options.

You may be psyching yourself out. My friend acts just like that all the time. You took the plan B so you should be safe, but if taking the pregnancy test is the only thing that will calm your nerves, then go spend the 7 bucks and save yourself the stress. More than likely its just irregular periods.

Could be stress or you could be pregnant. Only one way to find out for sure - go to your doctor and get a pregnancy test. And if you have irregular periods, considering getting on birth control. Plus, since you're already having sex, it would be another level of protection (but don't stop using condoms).

Well 1st thing is dont stress about this...because a lot of times woman do this and then it causes your period to skip and be all wack-o so def. calm down and if you really want to set your mind at ease...take a test...it'll be ok :) Good luck!!
