What evolutionary purpose does that serve?

I don't think it serves a purpose. The thing that makes me sick is smelling some-one Else's. I think something inside must say "remember when you were throwing up - it felt like this!!"

It serves no evolutionary purpose! HA! it proves there is a God! Animals that puke just because other animals are puking couldn't have evolved out of pure chance!

1. Because the mind is a powerful thing and the power of suggestion can convince people they are sick as well -- or just mere ''sympathy" pains.

2. Puking is not a pretty sight, which can make people react by puking themselves.
