I am pregnant with my third child. I wont lie to you, childbirth is not fun. It is painful and exhausting. But there are many options for pain relief. With my first baby I had an epidural, and was in hardly any pain at all. My second, I did naturally, and yes, it was difficult, but I made it through. And I will tell you this, once you see that little baby, the pain of childbirth suddenly becomes a distant memory. Woman have been doing this for thousands of years. You will be fine. So just relax and enjoy the experience of pregnancy. Congratulations and good luck.

When i first found out i was pregnant i was really really scared!! I knew birth was hard work and didnt want to push a baby out! I wanted a C-Section but i later learned recovery was way longer than a natural birth. I was 15 when i found out!!! Then when the time came i gave a natural birth and yes it was very painful but it was so worth it! You bond with the baby so much more than you would with a C-Section. Your body forgets about being scared when the time comes and you are overwhelmed with happiness, anxiety, and curiousity!!!

At first i was terrified of giving birth. But i talked to people about it, and researched it, and the more i learned the less i feared it. I mean it still scares me when i actually take the time to think about it, but i know it will all be well worth it. Congrats on the pregnancy!

I'm not scared as I plan on being drugged up. I'm scared of other horrors I've heard of such as pooping. I've a thing about going to the bathroom with people around. Hahaha so I'm kind of scared I'll do it when it comes time to push. Since you use the same muscles to push out the baby as you do to push out other things. UGH!

I think I was more scared of if the baby would be okay.

Believe me, childbirth is no picnic, but it varies for each person. They have wonderful means of numbing the pain with epidurals. I had one with each of my children, every child birth is different. But definitely sign up for the drugs.

I wish you the best of luck.

honestly im not afraid at all.... bring on the pain... the thing im afraid of is not be able to experience giving birth...this is my second pregnancy and i miscarried my first... im worried....miscarrying really ruins the abilty to enjoy pregnancy...and i use to get so jealous of other pregnant women who took advantage of having a healthy perfect pregnancy... but truth is... id be them if i didnt expereince what i did.... now i appreicate every part of having a baby,,, even the pain... its al worth it... its what we are made to deal with... we are women and we are strong :)....be happy u get to that point ALOT and i mean more than u think havent got to get to that point.. and will try and try again... and go through disapointment and harsh risky pregnancies

I have never been pregnant but i am sure that you have nothing to be afraid of. Congrats!!!!!!!!!!! Just remember that whatever happens you will be able to get through it, your body is designed to go through childbirth. The main thing to remember is to have someone with you when the time comes. They can encourage you to have faith in yourself that you can get through it. I can tell that this is your first so i recommend that you take a Lamaz class and just find ways that distract you from any fears that you have. Good luck and CONGRATS!!!!!!!!!!

when i was pregnant, that was my biggest fear. was going into labor and the delivery. but once it started and i got my epidural, then everything went well. while i was actually having my baby, my legs and arms was in the most pain. but it sure did feel so relieving to get the baby out.
congratulations on finding out your preggo.
