I'm having difficulty maintaining my composure and not letting certain things get to me at work and at home I've tried counting to ten, thinking before I speak, and running. Let's just say I run a lot now. Have lost weight, but am still needing assistance with this. Please help Thanks. Trilli

Hi, Trilli

You need to think of yourself first.
You need to take a day at a time.
You need to use your job as a therapy to for get problems at home.
You need to live life and enjoy, because life only last 5 minutes.
You need to forget about yesterday, live today, and look forward for tomorrow.

Tai chi has been one of my best personal discoveries,

HOWEVER, it is not an easy investment, it took me about 4 months, but once you get it, it becomes a part of you

ALSO, look at the given issue from the point of "forgiveness",
as you forgive, you will get mental strength from the love you give.

Forgiveness is always very difficult in the moment, but if you get beyond that you will find great strength.

One more thing, if your episodes involve difficult people, you should communicate that you want to help them, but that you need more support WHILE you are helping them.

well, I wish you the best, (and don't forget these are the lessons that make us stronger as people - great knowledge is never free, or cheap for that matter)

Professional breathing exercises will help. Its not all about taking a deep breath. You have to let it out as well. Visualization is calming as well. The best comfort comes from prayer to maintain your composure.

when your plans are always interrupted, look up say a quite prayer, and look for the lord, he is trying to reach you but your to busy to listen. He is good at getting your attention, so pay attention now or it could get much worse later on. The still small quite voice is calling you.

When life interrupts your plans, literally? I make it a point to not "plan" my life...instead, I set goals without a determined time span and just go about getting them done. Other than that, just remember that you always have a choice...to flip out or to let it go; weigh them against each other, then pick your battles.

What ever is going on with your job is causing you alot of undue stree and anxiety. Is there someone you can talk to
at work ? If you can't get this resolved by yourself. See a
professional. You can't keep losing weight and being stressed. Don't be afraid .

Not sure I understand the whole "Life interrupts your plans" statement. This can mean many things depending on your age and the time in your life.

I'll need more details on what you mean to be able to answer.

Sorry,

Talk to your Dr.
There are some medications that can help you in this department. I hate to see all of the US on drugs to cope, but it appears that more and more people need it everyday as things drastically change everyday in this country.

Good Luck!

don't be offended, but check into searching "anxiety" and ways to combat it. You young people are under so much stress these days it is pathetic. Be good to yourself. think about what makes you feel good, buy yourself an ice cream whenever you want, buy yourself flowers, be good to yourself.
