Funny I was just watching a Frontline piece on the state of global journalism particularly as it relates to the coverage on U.S. foreign policy in the Middle East. One of the things that was pointed out was that Al Jazeera has largely been censored by the U.S. media outlets. Not without the insistent urging of conservative lobby groups pressuring them not to carry Al Jazeera.
Way too many Americans view of fair and balanced is just the very opposite of fair and balanced. In my view fear of thoughts and ideas doesn't strengthen democracy it just weakens it.
In fact I would argue that some in Amreicans want to be governed by something more akin to a Theocracy. Which makes them more and more like the enemy they so hate.

You can watch it over the internet! I don't know what you'd need to get it on your satellite, but you can watch it with a computer. Watching video over the internet works best if you have DSL or Cable.
