well, when my mom had breast cancer i started getting into the whole punk rock/rock thing and i never used to like any bands like that (cuz i wuz a dork). But i listened to Green Day alot and u know Billie (?) well, he lost his dad to cancer and his voice and his sadness just helped me alot and i felt kinda connected to him and since i didn't tell any of my friends about my mom i felt that idk someone wuz there for me. it was just too too awkward talking to any of my relatives and I hate it so much even now when they ask me,"so how's ur mom?". it just bugs me. so i am totally obssessed with Billie and Green Day now.
