is telling a man that you really like him but cannot see him any more because he refuses to commit to you and keeps seeing another woman the best way to find out if he really cares about you? In other words, if a man is slow to commit will the possibility of losing you make him want you more and finally commit? If he is really interested in you in the first place but trying to see what he can get away with? I am seeing a man who see's someone else and says he may end it with the other woman soon but has not. Will breaking up with him force him to decide if he really wants me or will it just end the relationship?

It will just end the relationship. Men do not play games.

Surely you can't be serious with this question honey. If this TRULY was the man for you, there would be no other woman. Please tell me at what point in your life did you decide to settle for being second best? I know it may not be what you want to hear, but you are expecting honest opinions and I'm giving you mine. This man obviously does not see how valuable you are as a person. In a sense he's having his cake and eating it too. That is why he has two women. If one leaves, he's not out anything and still has a spare. This isn't about wanting what you can't have. This is about his safety net. He's already planned past the wanting stage...he's in the "I've got a back-up" stage, which is a little more self centered. And if that is how he is now, let her have him, it only gets worse after marriage. Find someone who values you as much as you do them. Your life will be so much less complicated and more enjoyable. You are worth it.

The guy is having his cake and eating it too. He prob wont leave the other girl. I hate 2 say that BUT it is usually how it goes. U r better off telling the loser to go away, u have better things 2 do than 2 b a second lady to a man who u care about. U wanna b first, tell him that, if he cant take it he is a weak man (boy). Move on, its the best thing u can do 4 yourself.

Perhaps she doesn't like you in that way? Why should she agree to a date with someone who she doesn't have feelings for? People do have the option of saying "no" when someone asks them out, you know; regardless of whether they're single or not. It's not mandatory to say "yes" just so the person asking doesn't get a bruised ego.

it does not matter what he will do.. you have to be loyal to your own image. Do you see yourself as a follower or do you go your own way? If you do what's right for you, you are setting up a network that automatically filters out people that are not good for you to be around.

Sounds like you're playing games to me, and if you're playing games, are you emotionally ready to make a commitment yourself?

Sounds like he HAS both of you and is playing you both for fools. I suggest you both kick him to the curb now.

Break off with him and if he does not come back to you, then he never would have.
Good luck
