All I can say is do your research... if you do, you will understand.. keep and open mind and work with logic... with your brain, not what you hear on programs which air on the fox network..

people need to wake up... stand up... and reclaim their freedom of thought, because it's being lost by the second...

Well, there's the reasons according to Bush and then there's the real reasons

According to Bush:
We invaded because supposedly Iraq had weapons of mass destruction (which turned out to be FALSE)

Real Reasons:
1) Take Iraq's oil
2) Set up permanent military bases in Iraq
3) Make ****-loads of money for them personally by contracting with private companies (example Halliburton - which Cheney used to be CEO )

The only ones that can really answer that question are those who started this war for apparently all kinds of false reasons. One of those reasons being what happened on 9/11, but there was never any real investigation into this tragedy instead there were stumbling blocks put up to those who were trying to find out what really happened that day, i know that someday the truth will really come out about this terrible tragedy i only hope those responsible are still alive so they can be brought to justice. My list of why this war, Oil, Isreal, Empire building, and Vengence.

I'll tell what's about its about Mr bush finishing what his daddy had started. What about Bin Ladden have we forgotten WHO attacked us on 9-11!? He's the one that actually hit us in the heart and yet his still ALIVE! and of course its about oil too its a natural resource what sucks is that why did most of oil had to be in the Middle east? Where people are still fighting over religion, land and water. It's just not right.

It all started with Saddam Hussein refusing to let UN inspectors freely inspect what they felt they needed to. They were searching for weapons of mass destruction (WMD'S), the US intelligence agencies along with others from foreign countries also suspected that Iraq had them. The CIA had suspected this since the early 90's.

The US warned Saddam that if he did not stop interfering with the inspections that there would be consequences, well Saddam still refused and then the war started. It is a part of the War on Terror that needed to be fought.

That is a very good and complex question that needs personal research.
In one word it would be Power.
Money = Power
Oil = Power
Territory's for military bases = Power
Show of military force = Power
Its all about the Power and the power is in the hands of a few. The few reside or hide if you will in these groups, Bilderberg group, Trilateral commission, Haliburton, The World Bank and the Federal Reserve. War equals profits for these groups and do not think for a minute that they cant elect to office who they want in many top countries. Don't believe what I say please look further into your news through the internet before the government makes it impossible to see news from abroad.
Inform yourself be a patriot in the name of our fathers. The link below will explain a lot.

Originally it started as an excuse for GW to invade Iraq (on the basis of weapons of mass destruction). That turned out to be a lie (I honestly think if there were any, they are in a underground cache in the middle of nowhere, where no one would think to look) Then the focus became to oust Saddam Hussein. He fled, his royal army and all the military was disbanded thanks to the ingeniousness of our fearless military leaders in the Pentagon. No with Iraq with no military and security forces left, that left the country in complete anarchy. The rise of the insurgents came shortly after. Terrorist organizations from all over the Middle East flees into Iraq to try to take a stronghold and recruit the now unemployed ex-military. We make a **** poor effort to restore law and order until Iraq can get over the Sunni and Sh'ite bickering long enough to put a government together that can bring that country together. The US then spends billions of dollars training a new Army (remember, we disbanded the old one), a new police force, and provide equipment that we will be back to destroy yet again in the next 20 years or so. Insurgents become really good at causing commotion in hopes of starting a civil war by assassinating government officials and their families, anyone wanting to cooperate with Coalation forces, or join the Iraqi military or police force, and set up IED's and VBED's. Then insurgents get really smart and start working on military camps drawing maps and bombing the **** out of them, recruit themselves into the police force and military to get uniforms and stay up to date on our training tactics, and ambush AAFES convoys to raid the trucks and get US military uniforms. We always say we killed or captured "a top insurgent leader" but there are 10 more to stand in the place of the one we take out. Okay....I think that about sums it up. Hope that helps.

If anyone could sense the sarcasm...I don't agree with the war in Iraq....hince, I am no longer in the military.

Its about alot of things. At first it was about protecting our own safety because Sadam Hussein was believed to be planning an attack on our country. We went in, found old weapons, and relocated them. Then the mission became dismantaling Iraq's oppresive government so as to make its people free. To do that we captured Sadam and now we're helping the government get back on its feet. What's causing us problems are radical groups who supported Saddam or groups like Al Quida who don't want peace. Now this is about the truest answer you'll get because all the liberals will tell you that it was a stupid war caused over oil but it was not. Just because there's oil in surrounding areas dosen't mean our president would go to war with other countries. They need to think for a second about what it would be like to live under Saddam's rule. We're just freeing our brothers and sisters in the Middle East. Basically terrorists need to go to hell and liberals need to get their facts straight.

P.S. Just so you know, don't listen to liberals when they bring up Bin Laden. Yes, he did cause the attack on September 11th and we are trying to find him (if Clinton would have done his job right sep. 11th would never have happened) but stupid democrats think that to cover their own asses they can blame us going to war with Iraq to cover up themselves. Going to Iraq had nothing to do with Bin Laden.

If we were going to go to war over oil then we would have taken over Iran. I'm so sick of everybody thinking this war is over oil, this is not true. This war was about taking out a crazed dictator that was a threat to our freedom. Don't listen to the liberal democrats about the ridicules excuse of oil. The united states doesn't control the price of oil either. The price of oil in Iran is fifteen cents a gallon. That is because they own it all! The democrats need to wake up!

Oil and who controls it. In a nut shell it's about a dedicated bunch of men and women Aarmed forces) doing a job that should of never of been assigned. The President of the U.S. George W. Bush should be ashamed of himself and should of known better.
