Looking for info on romance writer Rita Clay Estrada....?

The RITA award was named after her (its the Oscar of the Romance genre) I've looked on Wiki and googled her but i can't seem to find any bio info on her. I'd appreciate some help

She received the RWA (Romance Writer's of America) Lifetime Achievement Award in 2000.

As you said, the RITA award was named after her, she was the first president of the RWA.

That's all I could find about her without doing a lot of searching. You might email someone at the RWA website (listed below) to see if they have a biography they could email to you. I'll bet they do. On their website, their contact email is info @ rwanational . org without the spaces. Good luck.
