Yes, and I guess it's cool to watch, I have two horses and work at a stable so I see it a lot. Oh, and a farrier is the person who trims a horses hooves and put shoes on them.

I used to have 6 horses and I had so much extra hay that we bartered services....shoeing for hay...
We have several in my small town and outlaying villages....

I'm sure there is. My dad used to do the hooves of our horses all the time. I never have, but watched him do it.
