im about to buy stuff from ebay but i dont know how it works. my friends tell me that paypal is the best way to buy stuff. but i dont know what it is or how to use it. iv bin to the paypal website but i cant find a a lot of info there...wtf??? i need full detale before i get paypal.

When eBay first began, the company wanted a fast secure way to make payments over the internet. This was in part to decrease the non-payment disputes, (checks getting lost in the mail, etc...). PayPal was created and it is FREE to buyers.
When you make a PayPal account, you give your info and a bank checking account number. They make a small deposit to it like $0.18 and ask you for the amount to verify it is yours and open. When that is done they also ask you for a credit card number. This is for secondary ID and to serve as a back-up funding source. Once you are verified you are all set.
If you do not have a credit card, you can apply for a PayPal Plus Credit Card if you like. I think a ATM / Check Card with a Visa or MasterCard logo will work also.
Choose the checking account for payment, and PayPal will withdraw the money from the checking for you by electronic transaction, and apply it to the seller.
No one will see your personal info or account numbers when you buy through PayPal and eBay, and transactions are easy to track. The only info the seller will see is your email addy the PayPal account is connected to for payment, your name and address for shipping. You are also insured when buying through PayPal, and if your item never arrives, you can ask PayPal for a refund.

i will tell you what i know but i am not 100% shure! my brother in law has paypal and he says it is a creditcard and all you got to do is get a bank account and put money in the ACCOUNT AND USE IT! IT KINDA WORKS LIKE A WALMART GIFT CARD! oops hit the caps!

u can use paypal account as a combination of several bank accounts & credit cards. u can transfer money from bank account and money from crdit cards.
Its something like google checkout.
