i'm really late trying to watch them, i've been watching them on youtube. But i was wondering how many are there?......Well how many have been translated into english? And could i watch them all on youtube?

well currently there are 225 episodes of naruto that have been translated into english (subtitles). 220 of them are from the original series, and there are 5 from the shippuuden series. All of them can be seen on youtube.
Episodes 6 and 7 of the shippuuden come out on March 29.

So far only 80 episodes have been aired, and yes you can watch them on youtube but you better hurry up alot of naruto dubbed episodes are being removed by youtube. Would recommened you get the torrents from http://cartoon-world.edwardk.info/ instead!

Like others have said, we are only up to episode 80.
I suggest downloading the torrents to watch them until you buy the DVDs.

Don't download licensed anime series because it's illegal. Support the industry, buy the DVDs.
