angel. you are not alone. I have always 9xout of 10 felt like I couldn't stand my own voice. It 's like hearing yourself talking on a recorder for the first time.
I sing quite a bit. I get alot of compliments-But I can't stand it, it really makes me blush and sometimes I find it hard to except compliments. I have tried to work on that - My Mom says it is insulting when you don't at least say Thank You- and I Do and ask them to say a prayer for me.But I still don't care much for my voice even though I get more than my share of invitations. So I guess the best way to know if you are any good or not is how any people invite you to sing. I guess a lot of singers could be considered anorexia singers.
It's hard for us to see what others see in us. Remeber though don't let anybody stop you if you are Good-because people can be mean and jealous and then they give you bad looks. I always Vocus On The Smiling Sing-A-Long Types. You can draw strength from the positive and Forget the Negatives, they will try try to kill you by hurting your feelings. Good Luck and Hope We See you AS a Big Star One Day.. God BlessFriend..

I think I can't ride horses well at all, but I am always complimented and place well in the show ring. Most people just aren't confident in their abilities.
