how long does it usually take to heal and what can happen if you get kicked or hit in the groin shortly afterwards?

It takes a couple days for the initial pain to subside. It takes a couple of weeks for the incision(s) to completely heal. And it takes around 4 weeks before you can do everything, like extreme heavy lifting, jogging, running a marathon...that kind of thing. Although I liked the pp's humor about getting kicked in the groin, chances are you wouldn't get kicked in the precise point of reconnection....if you did and it was within 4 days or so, then it could break the reconnection apart or cause scarring. The chances of something like that happening are very slim.

My guess is if someone kicked you, you would want to kill them.
