One of my best lady friends sisters who I am also very good friends with also, is getting married. She wants me to crossdress and be one of the attendents. She is willing to pay for rental on a dress, hooped petticoat, other accessories, make over, and help me pass completely as a women. I have two months to prepare. Is it okay for me to do this, so everyone is happy on this special day?

It is the brides day. This will be not very good for the people attending the wedding. Just wear a tux.

I have no problem with someone crossdressing...but is this something you do on occasion? I could understand this request if, say...you do crossdress for fun or as a job. BUT, if it's not something you do ever...why in the world would she want you to be a woman at her wedding?
You know...this is 2007! Men CAN be attendants for the Bride.

If it's something that is done for fun and you are totally okay with attending this wedding in a different persona...go for it! But if you are going to be the humerous centerpiece to her festivities...I think you would just feel more like the token entertainment.

I would never ask a male friend of mine, gay or straight, to be anyone but themselves. Even on "my" special day.
Everyday YOU should be more than enough.

My sister in law had a male friend as an attendant, and he just dressed in a tuxedo with a tie and vest to match the bridesmaid's dresses (as opposed to the groomsmen.)

Making you crossdress is just going to make you look absurd, and everyone at the wedding will no doubt be wither laughing or snickering at you. Do yourself a favor and dress your gender.

..................if I click on "placed up" after having written an answer, and the message "Sorry , some thing has long gone incorrect" does no longer seem!!! i've got been used to it the final 4 weeks, so it would seem so unusual to no longer see it lower back...

It's all right if you're 100% comfortable with it, but if you don't want anyone to know about it, then I wouldn't recommend it.

yeah as long as you are cool with it, but I'd make her swear never to tell anyone.

I looked at some of your other q&a's. How long have you had this fantasy?
