what are the odds of getting preg after ur tubes are tied? i know theres a slim chance, but i also know it has happened to people i work with. i haven't had a period this month. tubes were tied in oct.

There's about a 1% chance you could be pregnant but it is not uncommon, is in fact very common, to have irregular periods after having your tubes tied. Ask you doctor about going on birth control pill for a few months. They will usually regulate your periods. I had to do this myself and it worked great. Look for more problems though. For some reason the tubal messes up some women's reproductive systems in more ways that one.

it is not very likely after a tubal ligation as with any sterilization there is a poss. of failure but it is very unlikely. as far as the no period. did you have your tubes tied after the birth of a child if so it may take a while for your hormones to get back into balance and cause a period. if not i would contact your ob/gyn. good luck

You need to do a pregnancy test ASAP. If your tubes have been tied there may be a chance of you having a tubal pregnancy. This is very dangerous.
