I could have sworn I heard her say her Mom passed, but recently, she keeps refering to a pretty blonde woman as Mom. Plus, she says she goes by Miley to alliviate emotions, because she's named after her Mom!

As far as what she told me, there's two sides to the story.
1) Miley's birth mother died in a car accident when she was very young and that she was named after her, Destiny.
2) Miley's birth mother is Tish, but she was named after Billy's first wife, Destiny.
Also, Miley's nickname was Smiley, which evolved to Miley
so her full name is
Destiny Hope Miley Cyrus

her real mom never died that is her real mom she has said so herself in magazines and if you look and pictures of her younger siblings and her older half brother and sister from her moms old marrige they all look like her
