I THINK LARRY JONSHON

Larry Johnson was never really in the top three RB's in the league. KC's blocking was the best in the league over the past 4 years (not counting last year) and every year sent at least 3 O-lineman + Fullback + TE to Pro-Bowl because they could block. Anyone could run with that set-up and they proved it when Holmes was doing it.( I know Gonzalez goes to Pro-Bowl cuz he can catch but don't doubt his blocking skills)

We saw how vulnerable LJ was when his blockers got hurt this year and was very unproductive when they were out. He is very good but also very overrated as far as being the best or second best as everyone says he is.

Fantasy Production doesn't necessarily mean you are the best player. He may be the top three fantasy backs (I wouldn't pass him up) but he isn't the best back.

Tomlinson is in same situation with Neal at Fullback and the two TE sets they run but his ability is of such that he would produce on any team. He is number one right now followed by Alexander who doesn't have much blocking but still produces.

Well Larry Johnson did a great job these past two seasons, without a doubt. He'll remain a 1st round fantasy pick for seasons to come...but Tomlinson will be the most common answer until he has a bad year or somebody get's 32 touchdowns in a season.....So he'll likely have to be my answer as well, taking nothing from Larry (as he'd be the solid 2nd best) but Tomlinson is just a tremendous individual.....A guy I think everyone should watch out for next season is the little fella in Jacksonville..Maurice Drew...he's small..but damn can he go! I think if he gets a chances to start 16 games, he'll easily be among the best in the league, even for a little guy......just offering a new choice...

LT is by far #1. He combines speed, power, hands, quickness, and vision like no other player in the league and very few ever. As far as his all-around game, the next closest would have to be Stephen Jackson of the Rams (good speed, strong runner, very good in the open field, solid hands, but not quite as shifty as LT). LJ puts up great numbers, but that offense is so run oriented and, until last year, had such a great line, anyone could have been successful there. After LT, I really don't think there is that much separation between the next best (Jackson, LJ, Frank Gore, and Shaun Alexander, followed then closely by Clinton Portis (when healthy) and one of the most under-rated players in the league Willy Parker).

LT is the best. He does it all. Run, Catch, Pass. Larry is a close second. The Shaun Alexander. Then probably Portis. And then ill go with Mcgahee and Frank Gore.

Currently - L. Tomlinson will shatter all the records before he retires!! The greatest RB of ALL TIME is Walter Peyton. He had NO offensive line until his knees were gone, unfortunately......
