Get in touch with an agency. They'll most likely want you to have some photos so be sure to have some good recent ones.

at 5'7" you are considered short...for high fashion ( runway and editorial photos)..but there are other areas which you can model.
find a reputable agency, in your area.
manhattan is well known for top angencies as are most large world cities ( paris, new york, london)
you don't need expensive pictures nor a portfolio.
if anyone asks for money to get you an interview or asks for money to make a portfolio..they are not reputable. they only want your money.
a good agency has open call days..when you can just go between certain hours and have the agency look at you.
the agency wants to see the real you. all you need are two simple photos, one up close of your face and one full length.
they just want to see how you photograph.
if they feel that you have potential..they will develop you.
don't give up..one agency might turn you down..and another one may sign you.
they are not judging you, or how pretty you are..remember agencies are looking for a certain type....
there are certain looks which " sell"..and that's what they are looking for.
it would be a good idea to go with a parent or guardian.
at fifteen, you would probably model on weekends and after school..to start with.
good luck!!

5'7 is a little short for high fashion. Specifically, it isn't the weight but the measurements that are taken into consideration. There is plenty of opportunity in commercial modeling. It is matter of calling up agencies in your area and sending in picture and/or coming into open calls.

Pretty much anyone can be a model, it's just the certain look you have that determines if you will be popular amongst agencies
