Mine does and it bugs me! He spends more time on it than with me! I'm just curious if there are any other wives out there who deal with the same problem.

guess what hon....my wife and I decided early in our marriage that video games would NOT have a place in our home...

so I don't play..I don't even know how...but here is what you do..because I still do OTHER things that take away from my time with my wife...I am a sport junkie...and I love my PC...and she hates both..

so I feel ya..but the thing is...doesn't your man deserve some time to himself? I mean I get that he may abuse it...but isn't that when yu go to the mall and shop..or do whatever it is that you like that he hates?

I mean...the space that you allow ....is the intimacy that you will gain later..

am I saying to allow him to play as much as he'd like? no..but offer him other activities that he would like..

not that you are putting yourself out there...but if he'd rather play video games than have sex with you....

then LET HIM PLAY WITH HIMSELF AND GET YOURSELF A REAL MAN!

I don't even know what socom is...so..no. I'm guessing it's some kind of game? Mine doesn't play games but he has other ways to unwind. We all do things to decompress, if that's what he uses, let him. Find something to do with yourself while he does. If its a huge problem, talk to him about it. Being married isn't about being in each others faces 24/7. Learn how to enjoy doing things on your own and you'll have more fun when you're together!

My husband is addicted to video games too! It doesn't really interfere with our marriage since he plays mostly after I go to sleep. He plays for hours on end! He works very hard during the day, so I cut him some slack. I figure it's better than him going out boozing or to strip clubs!
