our whole lives people tell us what not to do, what risks not to take and what can mess up our lives... but they don't tell us what TO do? With all these "don't do this or that" rules there's nothing left that we can do.

For example, "Go to college and get an education" but "don't take out too much student loans." Well what the hell. Decide which you want us to do... go to school or save money?
It costs over $1,000.00 for classes for a semester, over $3,000.00 for rent/living expenses and then another chunk of change for a decent computer & books. What the hell... it doesn't make any sense. Go to school but dont spend any money. How???

quit crying and do what you want to do. just take your chances and accept what happens without blaming other people if things go into the toilet.

There are plenty of people who will tell you what "to " do . Often "people " tell us to "stay in line" , "don't be weird" and it stunts us. Break free ! Be yourself ! as long as it doesn't hurt yourself or anyone else , try it , learn the lesson and go on. Sometimes others don't want to see us make the mistakes that they did , like the heroine addict at the NA meeting , or the alcoholic at AA or the uneducated single mom. We are all free to take others advice or not. Like the stuff you see in here. lol

They are telling the no No's so you can spend your time and energy studying for a good perhaps excellent education. Then the choice of what to do is very wide. Do not waste the time.

exactly! Thats why sometimes you need to stop listening to others, sit back and be a little selfish and think "what do I want? what do I need? what have I done? Was is it wrong, what was right about it? how can I fix things for myself?"
