This is probably not the answer you're hoping for, but a complete answer to your question as it pertains to how the Nazis used propoganda on the road to seizing power can be found in William Sheridan Allen's classic, "The Nazi Seizure of Power." In this book Allen details how the Nazi party went from relative obscurity to the dominant political party in the small town of Northeim in just a few years. This required diligent dedication on behalf of local party officials, as well as a tremendous amount of propganda in the form of parades, guest speaker engagements open to the public, socials, film showings, all manner of celebrations, and of course a local Nazi publication that provided the news with a serious Nazi slant.

One good way in which the Nazis promoted their leaders and propaganda to the German people and the world was to use the Summer Olympic Games in Berlin in 1936 to show how efficient the Nazis were, and how the Aryan race was the "Master Race." As the host nation, and the winner of the most medals (gold, silver, and bronze), it was also the first Olympic Games to have live television coverage.

The Nazis were excellent at propaganda, especially utilizing film to show the differences between the godlike Aryans and pretty much everyone else. There's a great documentary called "Desire" with original footage from the period of German physical fitness camps--everyone looks like a blond movie star. Of course, the infamous director Leni Reifenstahl's "Olympia" and "Triumph of the Will" went far toward reinforcing the mythology of Aryan superiority and the strength andd unity of the German peoples.

The history channel had an excellent series on this, go to their web site. It will amaze you how Hitler made it to the top, by faux pas. And, my dad is 92 and I 56, and I once asked him , Dad how could the USA let that go on,and he said, not much was known at the time world wide, after all, they didn't even have TV then. And it goes on now all the time,in Africa, killing of races etc. What are we doing about it and do you know about it ?
