does anyone have any thoughts on what type of vampire book they would like to see written? something different than what has been written over and over.

I'd like to see a vampire who was a musical comedy star on Broadway. He could have an awful time getting to the theatre for matinees, and he could only appear on late night talk shows. Perhaps he only drank the blood of critics who gave him bad reviews.

Vampire to priest as a form of redemptive penance, similar to Blade but without the vulgar violence, and FX that represent the unlimited power of God in a small but believable way.The book could be called "From darkness into light"-- The Father Vlad diaries or "Chronicles of Vlad -the return to heaven"

Honestly I think it has all been done. We're kind of innundated by vampire stories now. Some publishers of horror refuse to even read vampire stories anymore. Vampires need a break for a few years, then they will make a comeback. Pax - C.
