I mean im not against gay people! GAYPRIDE!! but my cousin is gay and i think she needs to stop!!what should i do because she has so much potential!! please help!! she has like 20 girlfriends and they just dont know how bad she is such a freak!! Please any advice??

I don't think being gay interferes with her potential. And I don't think more people are "going bisexual nowadays." There have always been homosexuals and bisexuals throughout history. It is now relatively acceptable for straight-acting women to be bisexual, so many have come out (some others are doing it for acceptance, but this is the minority).

The easy answer is that the media, i.e. TV shows, and teen movies, plus Wild Girls videos have made it acceptable. They all show girls kissing and touching and making love without any reservations and just showing they are having fun. The guys in the videos encourage it, so to look cool and "IN" they do it.
I believe that because of girls from childhood kiss and embrace and are more open to each other, plus sleeping ala. slumber parties and sleepovers, girls don't find it as strange as guys do getting together sexually. With all this combined its easy to see why girls are calling themselves "Bi".

why does she need to stop being gay?
I understand why you might be worried about her sleeping around with alot of people but wouldn't you be just as worried for her if she was with 20 guys.
Just try to talk to her about safe sex because you are worried that she might be hooking up with to many people and at risk of catching an STD.
oh and there is nothing wrong with being a bit of a freak.

It's not that a lot of people are all of a sudden turning gay. People just weren't as open about it a long time ago.

I think you need to let her be herself and don't worry about her decisions. Give her advise if you think she needs it but realize that in the end she will do what she wants!!

I guess you only feel like that because your life is around people that just happened to be like that. All you can do is just respect your cousing for who she is. People will go agaisn't their nature because they feel its right.

because a lot of them are afraid to tell their boyfriends/husbands how to satisfy them sexually. So they go to someone who knows how to please a woman.
Plus...women are just so damn gorgeous! If I was a woman I would DEFINITELY be a lesbian!
