It happens most after i sneeze or drink something. For about 20 min or so. My bupper is who is 7 mos was born at 28 weeks and she had very bad hiccups for a while. Because her esophagus was not fully formed.
Right now i am 25 weeks and she is following right behind her big sister. every time i eat, she eats, and the hiccups start to rolling. (though i know its not the same physical correlation as eating, it sure feels like it )

my fetus "baby" had the hiccups all the time when i was pregnant. i really notice around six months (and they got more intense after that). i heard your child is more apt to have hiccups outside of the womb if they had them while you were pregnant, but oh my goodness, after that kiddo comes out you are so preoccupied with everything else you forget about those sweet little hiccups. enjoy them now.

Very normal! I still remember the first time I felt my first baby hiccupping in the womb, I thought she was having a seizure or something! I even called the OB clinic... LOL They probably had a good laugh at me!
I enjoyed them for the most part, as long as they weren't keeping me awake!

Yes, my first baby had hiccups in the womb! It was weird, it felt really rythmic, for about 5-10 minutes. My doctor said it was normal :)

I had my baby in Decemeber and while I was pregnant with him he had hiccups all the time. I asked my ob/gyn if that was normal and he said it was perfectly normal. Also, I always refer to www.babycenter.com about all of my child related questions and they also said it was normal and so did www.babyzone.com. With my son his hiccups came at the same time every day, like clockwork.

They're very normal. The baby is practicing breathing. My son had the hiccups all the time before he was born, it was actually annoying.

Don't they feel hilarious?!?
I thought that they must be painful because sometimes they fely so big but im my What to Expect book it says that babies up to a few years old don't feel discomfort from hiccups the way adults do.
But hey, what do they know? They can't remember being babies, right?

Absolutely normal. Midvives tale says that hiccups signify the fact that the babies are growing.
