I have an at&t yahoo! modem that connects me to the internet on one computer. However, when it is connected to the broadband router, the feed doesn't get through the house to the other computers. Any suggestions?

Not much info about what type of network you using or the router. My guess is that you are using wireless, so can the other computers see each other do the other computer know they are connected to a network. Does that one computer work when it is pugged into the router. Did you plug the ethernet cable from modem into the WAN port and stuff. I know for me when useing wireless it takes a few min for that comp to be able to use the internet. Try contacting At&t if nothing works.

My dad has a Linksys router & verizon DSL, he has to go into the settings on the router & enter his user name (email address) & password one time because the modem requires password. If you have linksys trying going here http://192.168.1.1/ to adjust your settings. If you don't have linksys try calling your router's customer service, it will be something very easy to fix. Good luck!

You will need to enter your PPoE information *username/password into the router for it to connect. Once its connected you will be able to use all the machines.
