Go through your hard drive and decide what can be deleted, and get rid of it. Then the files that you want to keep, but don't access every day, save on floppy's, CD's or DVD's. Once they are saved and happy on the discs... you can delete them from your hard drive. Be sure to label your discs so you know what is on them.
Then take the files that are left on your disc, consolidate as many of them as you can safely put together.
Then do a De-Frag on your hard drive to move files to make better use of space.
