i see theres alot of younger generation on here,but isnt there any older people on here,who likes the older country music and the older rock,like in the 50s,60s,and 70s?if you like it,who do you like?myself,i like most of the old country singers.

Hey! Finally someone in this catagory I can relate to! I like new country, but there aren't any singers out there today as good as the oldies. Freddie Fender, George Jones, Loretta Lynn, Jessie Colter, Dolly Parton, and of course Patsy Cline! They all had their own unique sound. There are alot of good country singers out there now, but so many of them sound so alike. Toby Keith is my favorite current country singer, and I think its because he has a style and distinction to his music. This was a good question!

Yes, I still listen to the oldies of country music.. like Conway Twitty, Loretta Lynn, Merle Haggard, Johnny Cash, Crystal Gale, Buck Owens, Patsy Cline... etc.
I'm still an Elvis fan also... the early rock-n-roll oldies are favs too.
