I just switched dentists, and i dont like my new one. It isnt her personality that i dont like, she is pretty nice, but I dont think she does a very good job. I dont get the fluoride thing like i used to, and when i come back my teeth still feel like they have a lot of tarter and like she didnt do a very good job like my old dentist did.
I asked my mom if i could switch, but the problem is that one of the reasons my mom went to this dentist in the first place is that the dentist is one of her good friends! so this puts all of us in an awkward situation for switching. What should I do?

You only go to the dentist 2x a year. This cannot be that big of a deal for you, can it?

Not much you can do,but next time you go to the dentist let her know that she did not do a good job on your teeth.Make sure you say with all due respect you did not clean my teeth well and you forgot to use floride.

Be honest with your Mom and don't let her brush you off. It's pretty important to have a good dentist at your age and they're hard to come by.
