Some might be, but mostly they're just misguided, sexually frustrated, and/or constipated.

People bash homosexuals because they are taught to. In some case I believe that they are closeted homosexuals themselves, but I don't think that is always the case.
I know this because I am a vegetarian and an atheist, and I experience a very similar hatred and bigotry for both (people bashing it, telling me it's an abomination and that I'm going to hell--you wouldn't believe it. It's not nearly as bad as homophobic hatred, but it's bad). I seriously doubt it is motivated by that person struggling with their inner vegetarian.

well they feel insecurewith them self because even str8 people have homosexual fantasies Simon Le Vay has proving that has shown that only 4% has never had a homosexual fantasies so like some one has one out of all there heterosexual fantasies it scares them so they well bug you to deny it they just need to know that that we all get them

Insecure with something, whether or not it's their sexuality is anyones guess. The greatest majority of those who "bash" others do so to make themselves look "better". Insecurity at it's most extreme.

I def. think gay bashers are insecure. I remember reading a study somewhere that pretty much proved that a large percentage of homophobes and gay bashers are actually closeted gays who are just suppressing their homosexual feelings, and to make themselves better about it, they go around hating on us "damned homosexuals". *giggles* But thats okay, they'll get theirs in the end. some gay bashers are latent homosexuals lashing out against the "enemy" within. Most however, are simply small-minded, bigoted, insensitive, intolerant, boors. This thinking often comes from narrow minded family, or community, or religious thinking. Gotta love the religious types - always the first to condemn others.

It is definite that they are insecure in their sexuality. The best indicator is that they keep attacking us, normal people could care less about homosexuals.

they're insecure in their LIVES, not just their sexuality. They know that they are not liked by many people....but they just don't get it.

i'm sure alot of them are. that is why they have to devote so much thought and energy into hating a certain group of people that never did any harm to them. they are insecure and ignorant.

I completely agree with you....some may be jealous because we can be happy and they're not so they have to discriminate against us and it's not right at all.....I know one day we will all be happy in this world but it's hard to tell when that day will come.
