The Senco Nailer costs more and I've used it before and it works well, just wondering if the Porter Cable works just as well since it's $200 cheaper.

When it comes to tools cheaper isn't better, Senco is the one you want. I'm sure Porter Cable makes a good tool, I just haven't found it, every one I've ever purchased has not met my expectations.

i agree with chuck on the cheaper is not better comment... i usually go the cheaper route on everything, but i have bought a friend of mine a few tools as gifts and they werent name brands but i bought what i could afford... however not one of the tools that i bought lasted him more than a couple of months... and even though they came with warranty, it wasnt worth the trouble because he needed the tools right then, he couldnt wait for a month or more to recieve a new one... i believe the one he has now is a senco and has had it for more than two years and its still working great.. ive even used it myself a couple of times my self for some projects here at the house... i would go with the senco

about the same depends if you are using it as a pro or an am. as a pro i would always go for the best , there usually is a quality value with tools, but saying that not all the expensive are the best, go on its weight also the heavier the better.
