I'm not against wearing pants as long as they are feminine and in the right setting, but not every day! There is some women I know that wear pants every day to work. What is up with that? I feel women need to wear skirts or dresses when they are at work and maybe if they aren't moody they should get a casual Friday here and there where they can wear what they want. If it is impractical for a woman to wear a dress to work everyday then it isn't a woman's job and she doesn't need to be there. The nurses today in doctor's offices and hospitals dress like slobs with their weird pants and shirts. I think they should wear a white skirt, white shirt, and white hat (to put their hair up in)like the old days. I say let the women wear pants when they are around the house cleaning or whatnot and maybe in a park or picnic or something like that. I could go on but I think you guys get my drift...do you all agree or disagree with me here?

I disagree with you maybe we dont always like wearing a dress???
why dont you wear a skirt or dress???
My point is we dont always want to wear a dress!
I only wear a dress when I go to partys other wise I feel more better in pants then a dress.
I would so rather wear pants then a dress to school I do wear skirts to school though.
You should respect a girl on whatever she wants to wear and if you cant seem to deal with it then I guess you should turn gay!

its more comfortable like that- wearing pants instead of skirts and dresses. i dont work yet but i would wear dresses//skirts sometimes. at school- the teachers can only wear jeans on Friday if they wear a school spirit shirt but they still wear dress pants and only some wear skirts//dresses. i think they just wear pants like anywhere since its more comfortable. :)

Hey Zippy, here's an idea. Why don't YOU wear a skirt/dress when YOU clean the house or go on some stupid picnic and see how it feels. Why don't YOU shave your legs on a daily basis, maybe toss on some pantyhose and tell us women how much you like it.
It is not impractical for a woman to wear pants. HELLOOOOOO.....it's the 21st century, welcome to it!!!!!!!!!!
And, do you really care what a nurse wears?? What's more important? The quality of care that you receive or the type of outfit the nurse is wearing?!?!?!?

No. I disagree. As a nurse I think it is practical to wear pants in a clinical setting. When you are performing a code some patients you have to straddle due to their size. And a woman should wear what she feels like wearing.

I disagree. Women have the right to wear whatever they want to wear. If they wanna wear jeans or pants every day, let them. You're not their mom. Some women hate dresses and skirts.

When I go to work I sometimes spend time up a telephone pole.
I am a splicer for the phone company.
I don't think the dress thing would work very well for me.

Yeah sure, I'll try wearing high heels and miniskirt to all my field trips (I'm a biologist, I go to the woods, sea, and all kinds of places with dirt). On second thought, I can't wear a skirt, I'm allergic to them.
