I am getting notes on my room door telling me things will get bad if i dont find a place to live soon, not from the owner of the house but by another roommate that has lived there for a long time and is basically the manager of the house, i pay every two weeks and have lived there for 3 years. We didnt sign any leases, do i have any rights or can he just make me leave? There are two little houses on the property the manager in the front house and me and another roommate in the back, is he allowed to just come in whenever he pleases? ( there is only a kitchen and bathroom in our space, i mean for other stuff)?

This is scary. I think you should call the police and tell them you are being threatened. They will go talk to him. Then find another less freaky place to live!

The manager has to give you notice before he enters. If I were you, and you wanted to stay there, I'd just politely ask him what is going on. Ask if you've done something or ask why he's angry with you. It's not good to be on the manager's bad side in any case like this. Unless you are totally sprung on living in that room for a long time, I'd quietly find another place. Then, I'd just move out without notice.

The roommate can come and go when he pleases but the manager can not. The manager has to give you about 24 hours notice that he needs to access your space. Sounds like your roommate may have someone else he wants to move in there and that is why he is trying to get you out. I think you should call several Landlord/Tenant attorneys and get free consultations (initial inquiries by phone are free).

The manager can only kick a tenent out of the property only if he has a valid reason. For example if you are creating too much noise and disturbing others. Or also maybe you havent been paying your rent on time? If he simply wants to kick you out because he does not like you that is against the law.

He is NOT allowed to enter your space whenever he wants. There better be an emergency. He can start an eviction process on you, but considering that you pay your rent as previously agreed on, there isn't much he can do.

But I would just find a new place, if you can. Sounds like a terrible situation.

every city is different. you have to check with the rent controll board of your city. not having a rental agreement or lease agreement is not good. I would expect that he has to give you at least a 30 day notice... check with the city.
