I would go back to when you were 19 and be your first
Baby. I would be the sweetest and gentlest person you ever met. I would make you fall in love with me. Grassy always remembers details about those he really loves.

Tough question, but I may have to say the Roman republic during the time of Sulla. This short era has always intrigued me, as one could see the inevitable death of the republic looming while at the same time see Sulla do the unprecedented, by marching his army on Rome in a vain attempt to prevent it.
I've always considered Sulla almost admirable, in a somewhat sick way, given the extreme measures he had to take to try to preserve his beloved republic, but in the end he stepped down from his dictatorial post of his own accord and retired peacefully. The precedent he set, by using the army for political means, however, would ironically prove to be the means of the republic's downfall.

Out of all periods and eras, I would say I like the 60's; it just looked like a fun and innocent time in our history.
