I have tried everything. Over the counter meds, perscription meds, yeast pills (nature's cure and others), Rephresh, yogurt, and probably more. Are there any other methods I should try? I hear grapeseed extract works? Has anyone tried that? And also....are garlic pills a method? I think I've heard of that for fighting yeast, too.

Has anyone who's had reoccuring yeast infections finally cured it somehow?

The key to getting rid of the re occurring yeast infection is finding out what is causing you to get them. Here are a few of the things the doctor told me 20 years ago when I was going through the same thing.

Don't Douche...it washes out the good bacteria in your vaginal area that protect and maintain the PH balance.

Use white cotton underwear...some dyes can cause irritation that leads to yeast infection.

Don't use anti bacteria soaps in the vaginal area...it, gain kills the good bacteria

Iron the crotch of all your underwear...washing and drying does not kill the yeast spore. (Just till you have gotten rid of the yeast infection).

Wash your hands BEFORE and AFTER using the restroom and wiping...you can transfer germs and bad bacteria that is on your hand that will migrate to the vaginal area.

Make sure that your sexual partner is clean...like freshly showered clean...men can pass yeast infections to you even if they have no symptoms of having the yeast spores on them. Sweat, bacteria on the male partner can cause yeast infections.

Antibiotics can cause you to get a yeast infection by killing the good bacteria in you body....so when on antibiotics, use a 7 day Yeast infection treatment during the time you are taking them.

Also an occasional bath in warm water and vinegar will help to maintain your vaginal PH.

Hope this helps...I had the same problem till I started following the above routine, and I haven't had a problem with it in years .

Reoccuring yeast infections are a good sign of an STD. Great sign in fact. It might be a great idea to go to a doctor and get checked out. Another thing though, which may sound weird...is how you wipe after you go to the bathroom. There is a "right" way and a "wrong way" to wipe, and believe it or not, it happens a lot. You are supposed to wipe front to back. And doing it the other way around WILL GIVE YOU AN INFECTION. So maybe change that first, or if you already do it that way, go see a doctor.

I used to get reoccuring yeast infections a lot. My doctor finally test me for Diabetes. I am borderline. He said to cut down on my carbohydate intake and lose weight. He suggested the ATKINS DIET. After being on the diet for 2 weeks, I noticed an improvment. I have been on the diet for a year, now. No more yeast infections. I have also lost 76 lbs.

If you have frequent re-occurring yeast infections, you need to go to a doctor and have some blood tests done.

This can be a sign of several health issues, the two most serious and most likely being diabetes or HIV, but there are plenty of other health problems associated with frequent yeast infections, and many of them are serious enough to warrant a doctor's intervention.

Get to the doctor.

You need to stop taking any antibiotics because this wipes out your natural flora and good bacteria and yeast / candida / fungal infections are opportunists and grow when there are no good bacteria in you system to keep them at-bay.

If you have an infection you need to take DIFLUCAN or sporanox or Nystatin.

Over the counter meds are not going to do the trick a this point and may make it worst by delaying treatment.

reaccuring yeast infections are usually due to being on antibiotics for a long time and/or having a weakend immune system. Try taking lots of vitamins, especially antioxidents such as Vitamin C and E, to boost your immune system.
