yet leave something else--like complaints, spelling corrections, or say "you're weird" or "I don't know"...etc.?
can you just skip the questions you don't have an answer for? P&S is the fun section, but you still have to answer-be creative for monkeys sake.

Yes.
I asked a question earlier, nothing any different than anyone else's questions in here, and yet some ding dong felt compelled to answer my question with "that is neither a poll or a survey, thank you"

And I can go without someone giving me an answer and then a personal attack for the topic you picked.

Your completly right!!!!! I think users just do it because they need an extra 2 points. The computer will give you 2 points, whether you answer a word, or a pgs. worth. All that means is that you won't get the best answer. Your right, keeping asking questions, your pretty down to earth. Well, maybe your question will change the way Yahoo makes its answer page.

I do agree. Someone just asked a question about her boyfriend buying her a blizzard and she wanted us to guess the size and flavor, which I thought was cute. But she had a few smart as s answers. Why not just skip the question rather than make yourself look and sound stupid.

Yeah, I just saw 2 of those idiots on one of the questions about 15 minutes ago. But to skip a question they don't like wouldn't provide them with a venue to take their anger at the world out on you. Don't take their immature, irresponsible behavior personally. They're goofballs. Unfortunately it means that YA Team isn't watching very closely. Keep smiling.

it isn't important - i pick the best answer and if some of them are complaints, typos corrections - then they don't get it: it being the BA and the whole point...

and if by correcting my spelling they feel better - good - the qu was worthwhile after all.

i enjoy the intelligent fun answers best ...so my other answer is:
Why haven't you been to my blog and left a voicemessage

I don't like seeing it on my Q's or others, it shows no imagination at all.Another one I hate is just the plain old "Thanks for the two point." without even trying to answer the Q.
I haven't been answering for the last couple of days because I've had a mental block, just couldn't think of answers. My solution was just not answer rather than give those types of answers

Anything for 2 points for some people.

I am not so much bothered by people who do not answer questions as I am bothered by those who ask questions that do not deserve an answer.

There are hecklers in every crowd sometimes warranted but their impact is minimal. This is a cerebral forum, they need to go somewhere where their statements are entertaining. Grade school comes to mind :)

I find it a fine line to walk, answering with too much or not enough. Be assured I will never answer a question with a critical comment, unless your name is Sandstorm!
