Bobby Orr - revolutionized the game

Ray Borque - played a ton of minutes every night, great all-around defenseman

Larry Robinson - Awesome defensively, biggest reason those Canadian teams gave up so few Goals, could move the puck too

Doug Harvey - Tough pre-expansion defenseman who joined the offense before Bobby Orr made it so popular

Denis Potvin - Big factor in Islander's success, another strong 2-way defenseman.

The sixth spot is tough here, I'm trying to choose between Lidstrom, Kevin Lowe, Brad Park, Scott Stevens, Rod Langway and Chris Chelios. Guess I'll go with Lidstrom because of the Wing's success and his Norris trophies, the others would not be "wrong".

Paul Coffey does not belong on this list in my opinion, sorry. Yes he was the best OFFENSIVELY, but his defense was usually a joke.

Geoffrion was a RIGHT WING!!!!!!!
