I buy the most normal-looking clothes I can find in the clearance rack! I may be cheap, but I look at it in a positive way... maybe one day I'll be able to afford nice stuff because of the saving I do now.

Never. Popular clothes really turn me off... everyone's wearing them, I don't wanna look the same, like some clone or robot. I was looking at a top in some store once, the salesgirl said "that's really popular at the moment" I promptly placed it back on the rack and walked out.
I don't follow trends, I START them.

My buys are based on current fashions but at the same time it has to be something that I like. If I don't like it I'm not just gonna buy it because its in style.

NO! I but clothes that fit me, I look good in, and make me feel good about myself. I can't stand people who buy/wear Abercrombie (and other brands like that) just because "everyone else" does.

I never try to keep up with trends or the latest fashions. I like to be comfortable and I can't afford it anyway.
