Are you sure he done it himself??? It seems pretty impossible to pull a bow back at that angle and shoot yourself. I believe I would do some investigating.

do you need medical advice, or is he dead from it? you need to be more specific, but it seems hard to believe he shot himself from that angle. it would be very hard to pull the bow back and aim the arrow at his head.
if it's just medical advice, i'd say hospital, now.
PS- i really don't mean to sound rude, it's just hard to answer this question.
