Go to the website for the company that made your computer. Then go to the support/drivers page and search for your model number. Then just download the audio driver and viola!

Look for the CDs that came with your computer (hopefully you still have them). The audio drivers should be their somewhere. Or go to the website of the computer manufacturer, look up your model number, and download the audio drivers you need.

Unfortunately I'm not in the mood for great detail tonight.

If you're running Windows XP you can do a system restore which will restore your windows to how it was before you did whatever you did. You can find that in Start/Programs/Accessories/System Tools/System Restore.

If not then you'll need to find what hardware you have in your PC and go to the manufacturers website to redownload the drivers.

Hope that helps

Go here and install the K-Lite codec. Your multimedia files will play fine then.
