i believe durant is because his ability to do everything and oden is not that great like people say i dont see him score 30 points alot like durant does its just my honest opnion

Oden is better because his presence changes the way the game is played. When I see both they both command double teams, and they both rebound good(Oden is better but he gets into foul trouble sometimes, so it eschews the results). But if you watch the game on the defensive end(this coming from a UT fan), Oden hands down dominates. I have seen games like Memphis where the team is down ten but his defensive prowess usually stops the bleeding because he prevents opposing players from getting into the lane. The opposing team usually ends up settling for jumpshots, and if all goes well his team wins thanks to his presence. He is the Big Ten defensive player of the year(close to 4 blocks per game), and first team All-American(along with Durant but no defensive honors for KD). Defense wins championship, and that's why Oden is in the Final Four, and KD is not(I'll also give credit that Oden's team is deeper and more experienced). Overall, they both will become dominant players in the NBA in a year or two.

I'd have to say Durant even though I'm a Buckeye. Don't get me wrong, Oden's good but I think Durant is the better all around player with points and rebounds. Oden's has the blocks and rebounds but fewer points.

I would have to say Durant on this one. Not to put Oden down, but he just doesn't have the athleticism Durant does. Durant could play a whole game running down court and flying and defenders. Oden would need to rest. Even when he is rested, he doesnt have enough emotion out on the court.

People saying Durant is better because he scores more points are stupid... Put Durant on a team with any talent besides himself and tell me how many times he scores 30.... Oden doesnt have to score as often so he doesnt.... Oden plays on a TEAM... Durant has better stats... Oden is the better player... Right now Shaq is averaging 17 ppg and is 50th in the NBA... I doubt you can name 49 guys that are better than him... stats dont mean nothing when one is all a team has...
and Oden also has his team in the fianl four

right now its durant. in the future, it will be oden. durant is really frail, oden is a monster. durants defense is not nearly as good as odens.
