I had the same symptoms early in my pregnancy as well. I had light bleeding and period like cramps. I went to the doctors and was told that everything was fine. I'm 22 weeks now and so far so good. Get to the ER if you need some immediate answers. They will do a pelvic exam and scan to see whats going on. Keep your head up and try not to worry. Just don't wait around to see what happens, get medical care asap. Good luck to you sweetie.

I had the same thing with my first. I felt like AF was going to show up. I had some light pink spotting and kept waiting. But, other than the spotting I had no other symptoms of miscarriage.
I think it's silly to talk about a miscarriage based on just spotting alone. With a miscarriage you would have other symtpoms as well. Don't worry yourself needlessly :)
My son was born one day after his due date. He's perfectly healthy! A lot of women have this type of bleeding and nothing becomes of it. I've had a few friends who have had it throughout their pregnancy...once had it and just found out at nearly 6 months that she was indeed pregnant!! lol.

My stomach was cramping very bad earlier in my pregnancy, but I had no bleeding. I don't want to scare you, but the only time that I ever had bleeding was when I had a miscarriage. A lot of people have bleeding though and everything turns out ok. You just need to go see your doctor as soon as possible. They can check your hcg levels and tell you if everything is ok. Good luck!

When I found out I was pregnant it was the day I was supposed to start too. I could have swore that I was going to start any second. It felt that way for about a week, like I was on my period. The light blood could be just because it was your time to start. Don't worry until it becomes darker, heavier, and every time you wipe. I have a healthy 8 month old son! Congratulations! Just try not to worry and just keep an eye on it, but all perfectly normal!

If your pain gets worse or the bleeding... go to the hospital. I was 6 weeks pregnant and I had bad cramps. No bleeding at all..... I went to the ER and I had a tubal pregnancy and the pain was because my tube had ruptured. Just be careful. I wish you the best of luck.

Yes, I had a simliar scare and my daughter is now 2 years old. You can experience pain from the egg implanting in the uterus and from your hormones adjusting to pregnancy.
Take it easy and try not to worry. Unfortunately though, if you are going to miscarry, it's going to happen regardless, there is nothing they can do to stop it. But think positive and good luck!

There is actually something called 'implantation bleeding' where the egg attaches itself to your uterus and burrows in - it can cause spotting light pink blood. If it gets heavier, head to your doctor but if it stops, it should be fine.
