The federal govt. ..they control everything , the FDA (Fed's) approve , and control everything we eat , drink , and the medicine we take , they even made it law that the only way , to treat the symptoms of a diagnosed disease is by prescription drugs. that is why if you are fat it is a disease , if you forget to flush it will be diagnosed as A.D.D. ....The federal government also will flag your bank account if there is more money than they think you should have , try making a 10,000 dollar deposit , your account will freeze until someone from the IRS meets with you to verify where the money came from , They approve ,and deem all of the new cars that they think are safe for us , not telling you that the only way these cars are legally allowed on the road is with air bags , if it were not for the air bags the feds would never allow these plastic ,and recycled beer can cars on the road..This is the same system wanting to control our health care , if this happens the entire nation will be on medication. Hillary has invested a lot of money in the pharmaceutical companies , ALL politicians are lawyers , and do nothing unless it is profits for them ,and their friends , both sides do this , our system is made up of corruption , greed , and lust for money , why do you think every time a politician calls something " PROGRESS" it costs the working class people more, and more.. everything they do is at our expense either money or lives , they do not care because they are getting paid....

For many years in many places there has been the idea that the real powers are the very quiet men and women who have great wealth and influence. It is not supposed to be true, that is the whole point of American democracy, but the events of the last fifty or so years do make one wonder, don't they? Read Taylor Caldwell's novels for an intriguing glimpse at these ideas.

THE PEOPLE RUN IT! this isn't directed towards you but i am getting tired of everyone complaining about the government. The people are in control of who gets elected and who is in the government. we vote for every major state and nation office held in our government so people have no excuse when someone is elected. people need to start doing their homework before they vote and maybe check voting history and stuff instead of simply remembering ads from tv or the media. And while some people, will always be against the current government, the majority of the people will be heard and that is how our future government is determined.

Lobbyists are powerful people with money who represent the interests of other people with money. They use their money to buy the opinions of the legislators we elect. Some legislators stay true to the people, but too many fall victim to money.
A lobbyist will put money in an elected officials campaing, or pocket, in order to get them to vote a certain way. It looks like the process works the way it is supposed to, but seacrh guys like Duke Carpenter .
The people who run our government are people with money.

The problem is when we get the opportunity to vote, the choice of candidates are usually "bad and worse". It seems that even when a politician of marginal values gets to Washington, they cave in to the common practice of working to keep their job, rather than doing the job!
I would love to see a citizens congress. Where it is a lottery and if you are chosen, you must serve your country in the congress or the senate. Of course there would have to be parameters, like a minimum of a high school education, no criminal background and no mental health issues.

We as citizens run this country with our votes. Don't vote and keep up on what is going on?Your fault. We can only blame ourselves for the mess we are in.Not enough people get involved .They only complain and grip.

It doesn't take a genius to realize that the only President's we have had in the last 19 years have had the last name of either Clinton or Bush. Make your own conclusions from this info.
