oh, don't you hate when that happens?! i don't know why. i guess the perfect answer just doesn't always come to you right away and you need those 10 minutes to think about it. so frustrating, though, lol.

Because, like it or not, only a few like Paula Poundstone and Elen DeGeneris can be quick with wit - the rest of us are smart usually only after-the-fact. However, I HAVE caught myself saying some wicked but unconscious puns off the top of my head. Now where was that list .......

That is a good question! I usually think of it less than a minute after I should've said it, then by the time I think of it, its not a good time to interject it into a conversation.

Cuz the thought is still in ur head and u are thinking about it. So your brain automaticaly keeps thinking of different things you could have said. Chances are ur thoughts keep getting better. It sucks, I know!
