"When homeworks is given to kids, they don't do it. They cheat by asking people on the Internet to do it for them. I propose that, because homework has turned into such a joke that it no longer be used. Instead, I believe that school days should be lengthened such that teachers can observe students while they work so that they don't cheat by using Yahoo! Answers instead of thinking for themselves."

If teachers were really putting in the effort to teach kids in school then they would not need to do homework after school.

A well developed individual does not come from doing repetitive work from academics. This could all be resolved while in school. After school should be a time for a growing individual to develope team sports, discipline, and culture like music.
