I would go with someone like Omobi Okoye. He is a man child (only 19 years old) and already 315 LBs and incredibly strong. Remember he played in one of the best football confrences and still teams had a hard time even when they double teamed him. He is also incredibly smart and has shown a large desire to improve and never quits on a play. Add those things up and consider that most of the other guys in this draft will be either 32 or 33 and he will only be 29 and I can see him being the best player 10 years from now. Of course injuries will play a huge role in who is and isnt still contributing in 10 years but Okoye is where i would bet my money.
i also like Quinn to be a very good QB 10 years from now, I cant understand all the hating (maybe people dont like ND?) but this kid has the tools, smarts and pro style coaching (plus Weis has told many people Quinn is the best prospect he has ever seen....including Tom Brady and I am guessing he knows what he is talking about). Most of the guys that hate Quinn also think Troy Smith is a great pro prospect...a great indicator that they know nothing about how to evaluate professional talent and not recognizing that he was the product of a great team (they will understand when Smith doesnt hear his name on saturday....4th or 5 rounder on most team boards right now and some teams admit he isnt even on their boards at all!)

Class of the class of 07 will be Okoye, Quinn and Joe Thomas.

calvin will go to a team with a bad QB. Russle will go to a bad team as well. Ted Ginn Jr. (Ohioh State) is a speed threat, but not a great route runner.
Adrian Peterson will do good, but there are many good RB's out there, so he may be forgotten. Brady Quinn may have a good team in Minnesota, so I say him out of those, but overall, Joe Thomas from Wisconsin will be one of those guys around for a long time, and be dominate at the line.

Calvin, definitely. The guy is a MANIMAL!

Yeah, Peterson is great, but his upright running style will make him injury prone a la Priest Holmes...

Ted Ginn Jr...Great speed...No hands.

Brady Quinn is so full of himself. It's like Ryan Leaf all over again...

Jemarcus Russell looks great on paper but, really, why all the hype? He didn't get any hype before his big performance against a porous Notre Dame defense. A defense that in the two previous Irish losses gave up nearly 80 points...Besides, we knew all along that the Irish are "America's team", thus always being so overrated that it's not even funny...

I love CJ. russel has bust all over him. Ginn is kind of small for a long career, if he ever losses a step to injury he will fade fast. Peterson has injury questions...and most rb's don't last 10 years. The most acurate indicator of QB sucess is a 1st or 2nd round Qb with 40+ or more starts. Quinn quailifies for this but we all know that means nothing.

CJ is a lock for a great WR in my mind.
Joe Thomas is the safest pick to start 10 years.

Thats a trick question because we have no idea where they're going. If Russell goes to Oakland,It could be 2 to 3 years before he starts showing his potential. We don't know where the other four (listed) are going. If Petersonson goes to Browns - he'll be like Russell; it'll be 2-3 years before he starts showing his potential, too.

IF I HAD TO PICK - Peterson 'cos RB can step right in and play.
