i feel attacked when somebody says a band i like is killing music. it makes me feel like i have no good taste, and i'm already embarrassed by my taste in music. so, i guess when someone disagrees with me i feel personally attacked 'cause i'm so insecure

Nope I sure don't, everyone is entitled to their own opinion. I happen to love Nickelback......just because you don't doesn't mean that it's a personal attack. Creed is ok.....not my fav. tho. Gilmore Girls is VERY annoying, McDonald's is a heart attack in a sack, Never seen the DeVinci Code, so no opinion either way, and yes.....CSI is predictable. LOL

"Creed Sucks! I hate you and the band you like"- Red Vs Blue sorry had to do that. But it depends on what they disagree with me on. It all depends on whether absolute truth exists. If it does then opinions do matter, and people can be right or wrong. If not than no one will care what someone believes, because no one can be right. So yes and no...

Actually, I agree with you iabout the above things. The only time I feel attacked is when people post intentionally rude or smart *** comments to questions asked, just because they can do so anonymously.

I feel personally attacked when someone gives an answer and is completely ignorant and rude about it. Some people are just down right mean.

Not at all. It's interesting to hear a different perspective, and, by the way, I agree with you on all of the above!

not at all! it challenges my belief/opinion and makes me find credible evidence to support my belief or opinion. I find that it helps me grow in my thinking and reasoning process.
by the way, I agree with you on most of those =]

No, everyone has a right to their own opinion. Whether I agree or not with what they say, I respect their right to say it.
