I would go with the order you listed them in - Hemingway, King and Patterson last ... You cannot go wrong with Hemingway and that is one of King's better books. As for Judge and Jury - pretty standard Patterson stuff - nothing special. Pax - C.

Start with the Hemingway, he's a terribly over-rated writer but he is still on the list of Writers You Ought To Read At Least Once. Then you can ignore him for the rest of your life.

Stephen King is a better writer than Patterson, so it's up to you whether you keep the better writer until last or not.

The girl who loved Tom Gordon is a great book by Syephen King. It reads fast and is really interesting.

Hemingway's "A Farewell to Arms" without a doubt. If you learn to appreciate a great book like this it will put the others in a proper perspective.
