I can never get full anymore. My mom says that my child is going to be greedy and my husband has a crazy notion that we are going to have twins?
Has anyone else ever been this hungry so early?

i am 8 weeks 5 days and i am not hungry like that but maybe it is my head to because i dont want to gain much weight then i dont need... but good luck!! :o)

Absolutely! I have been pregnant two times and my appetite increased both times. Even had cravings very early on. My first pregnancy was a singleton, the second was with twins. My appetite was the same for both pregnancies in those early weeks. With the twin pregnancy I was super exhausted all the time early on, napping ALL the time. With the singleton pregnancy I was tired too but no where near as bad with the twins. That was the only difference I noticed early on between the two pregnancies. Hope that helps! Oh, and as for your child being greedy? Nope. Your change in appetite now is to help support all the changes taking place in your body to have a healthy pregnancy. At this gestation your baby is still so small that it really isn't using all that much of what you are eating. Your body requires alot of fuel for all the work it is doing to grow a new life. (Nothing greedy there, just completely normal for a pregnant momma and her baby). So, just make sure you are eating healthy foods and listen to your body, if you are hungry then eat sensibly. And let the silly comments from others roll right off your back!

You are eating for two now. right when the egg is fertilized the placenta starts to watch the food and nourish the growing baby!!! You can start eating alot and never get full as early as 4 weeks. Your husband can be right, but i was that way when i was pregnant but i was only 15 so the age might matter.

YES oh my god I ate like a pig till I was in the third trimester I'm 33weeks now and I have finally slowed down and find myself forcing myself to eat but do know that you may gain a lot of weight I was 140 before I'm now 205 good luck

i was extremely hungry at 7 wks pregnant but it only lasted a week or two then morning sickness kicked in and i couldnt eat a thing. hope u dont get that tho!

Yes, and I would get it where I would be immediately super hungry. One minute Id be full and then all of a sudden super hungry with a very specific craving.

i personally lost weight the first trimester because i had a month of morning sickness and then after that nothing seemed appetizing but every woman is different!

yes its true, i gained 14pounds in first trimister because of that.
