My son who will be 5 in June wants to see the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle movie. I need to know if it is too violent for him or is it just the normal cartoon type of fighting.

nah, its fine. Cartoons dont have bad violence. If it was too violent for kids believe u would hear about it all over the net and on TV and radio and such. When I was like 9 or 10 when the Disney movie Dinosaur came out there was a big thing about that movie being to intense/violent 4 kids. SpongeBob was also considered border line because it was sort of bizzare. The show Invader Zim was taken off the air partly 2 it being too violent 4 kids.
TMNT was #1 at the box office and there's been nothing bad said. I think its safe. Besides, he's 4 almost 5, he wont get anything thats going on besides that the turtles are good guys fighting the bad guys.

i saw it in yahoo mavie news that it has some violent scenes with weapons and becaz it is a teen movie the language is a bit mild!
but it i the best movie of the month caz my friends saw it and said that its superb!
i think u can allow ur child to see that movie!
ya it is just the normal cartoon type fighting!
u can see yahoo movies for better results!
go to yahoo select movies and then select or type TMNT the TMNT page will open and u will be able to get ur answers their from the rewiews and ratings!
first check that before taking him to the movie!

Well the most violent part is when he gets his head chopped off. Other than that yeah, go see it.
